Andrew Baker of DORIS Enthusiastic About Collaborating with Equinor for a Sustainable Future
Equinor, an international energy company based in Norway, has selected DORIS, an energy engineering, advisory, and project management firm headquartered in France, to provide owner’s engineering services for offshore wind and low-carbon projects. This collaboration will be carried out under a five-year master services framework agreement. DORIS will leverage its expertise in the energy industry to assist Equinor in its project portfolio.
Under this agreement, the company will offer its services to Equinor in three key areas. Firstly, it will provide personnel through secondments. Secondly, it will conduct studies, reviews, and verifications. Lastly, DORIS will handle various engineering tasks, including design and detailed engineering, procurement, and project management.
DORIS will utilize its extensive experience in owner’s engineering, having successfully delivered over 6 GW of projects in the United Kingdom, Korea, and the United States, focusing on both fixed and floating offshore wind projects for Equinor. Additionally, the broader DORIS Group, with 60 years of offshore expertise, will contribute to scaling up low-carbon energy production solutions for Equinor.
Andrew Baker, the Executive Vice President of Renewables at DORIS, expresses the company’s satisfaction in being granted the framework agreement by Equinor. He emphasizes DORIS’s strong expertise in owner’s engineering services and extensive experience in offshore wind and low-carbon energies. Baker looks forward to collaborating with Equinor in driving towards a net-zero future, leveraging DORIS’s capabilities to achieve this goal.
